For the purposes of interpreting this document, ALGO GLOBAL LTD. shall be referred to as ALGO GLOBAL.

At ALGO GLOBAL, it is essential that all individuals associated with our business dealings, whether as collaborators, clients, partners, or professionals, uphold high moral standards and adhere to the corporate guidelines that ALGO GLOBAL deems necessary.

We are committed to maintaining the trust of all individuals involved in our activities by continuously optimizing and updating our policies to ensure compliance with the laws of Saint Lucia and other relevant jurisdictions.

PURPOSE OF OUR CODE OF ETHICS

The purpose of the ALGO GLOBAL Code of Ethics is to publish and establish the principles, objectives, values, duties, and obligations that must guide the actions of every individual associated with ALGO GLOBAL, particularly our employees, collaborators, and managers, through responsible and respectful behaviors, with a commitment to providing quality service.

This document outlines specific guidelines to prevent behaviors that may result in harm to customers or damage to the company’s reputation.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION OF THE CODE OF ETHICS

This Code of Ethics applies to all employees, partners, managers, and collaborators of ALGO GLOBAL.

ALGO GLOBAL will provide the necessary foundations and guidelines to facilitate compliance with and contribution to the principles outlined in this Code.

At ALGO GLOBAL we respect each of our principles of conduct:

  • Confidentiality: Do not disclose, share or deliver to third parties information about the company and/or the company’s customers. As well as respecting the privacy of our customers, collaborators and our company.
  • Responsibility: Responsibility is the decision that each person must assume the consequences of the decisions made and respond to their own actions. This makes us trustworthy and truthful in our actions.
  • Honesty: To be honest is to act with integrity and transparency. This is a fundamental principle both as a company and individually. Therefore, the customer must be provided with accurate and complete information regarding the characteristics of the products or services offered.
  • Equity: All people deserve dignified treatment, regardless of their sex, race, nationality, religion, age, hierarchical level, personal conviction or any other circumstance or characteristic.
  • Commitment: Maintain a commitment to support customers, as well as to comply with the rules and policies by which ALGO GLOBAL is governed.
  • Innovation: Develop innovative plans for capital investment.
  • Transparency: It consists of respecting and safeguarding the publicity of the acts, as well as that of their grounds, and of facilitating access by any person to that information, through the means and procedures established for this purpose by law. 
  • ADHERENCE TO ALL RULES/COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW

All activity, whether commercial or labor, must be in accordance with all the rules, laws, regulations and policies in force.

Likewise, ALGO GLOBAL will develop plans to prevent and mitigate any illicit conduct in accordance with the laws of Saint Lucia.

USE AND MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION

The unauthorized disclosure of internal company information by any means except that required by the authorities is prohibited and may only be provided by authorized areas and persons.

ALGO GLOBAL will carefully safeguard any confidential information, whether it is company information or information obtained through our business.

The data and information of the public will be handled and respected in accordance with our privacy notice and its applicable law.

PRIVACY OF THE INFORMATION OF THOSE WHO ACT WITHIN THE COMPANY

The company keeps those data of those who act in the company and that are indispensable for corporate, legal or contractual reasons, limiting access to such information only to authorized persons.

PRIVACY OF CUSTOMER AND SUPPLIER INFORMATION

Commercial dealings with customers, collaborators and information about their operations and/or past, present or future transactions may only be used by authorized persons and will be kept in a restricted area. 

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

A conflict of interest arises when the interests of the company are opposed to personal interests and, where appropriate, those of third parties.

Our employees and collaborators must avoid or resolve any real or perceived potential conflict of interest.

Ethically, we refrain from accepting gifts, gratuities or attentions that may create a commitment or are made with the intention of developing a certain conduct to favor our own interest or that of a third party against the policies and interests of the company.

Any gift, gratuity or attention must be proportionate to all members of ALGO GLOBAL, in order to avoid a misunderstanding or preference.

RULES ON POLITICAL ACTIVITIES

Company funds shall not be used personally or collectively for purposes that are not relevant to the objectives of ALGO GLOBAL.

It is strictly forbidden to proselytize in and around the workplace, both during working hours and outside the company.

POLICIES ON COMPANY ASSETS

ALGO GLOBAL’s assets must not be used for personal gain, as if they were one’s own or for unauthorized purposes and are the responsibility of the person in charge of them and those who use them. To this end, there are internal policies that all our workers and collaborators must respect.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS

Computer systems are essential to the day-to-day operation of ALGO GLOBAL. It is essential that the equipment, programs and systems, as well as the access, processing and storage of data, are adequately safeguarded and used exclusively for authorized purposes. For this purpose, our members and employees are informed about the sensitivity of the data that may be contained therein.

The systems and programs, such as e-mail and voicemail, are the property of ALGO GLOBAL and our employees are trained to only use them for the purposes and purposes determined by ALGO GLOBAL.

CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, DRUGS AND ENERVANTS

The company strictly prohibits its employees from consuming, possessing, selling, attempting to sell, transport, distribute, or manufacture drugs or any other controlled substance, regardless of the quantity or form, while carrying out activities during working hours and within the company’s facilities.

Our employees and members must conduct themselves in accordance with our internal policies, always seeking to safeguard the reputation of ALGO GLOBAL.

THREATS AND VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE

The emotional and physical health of our workers and collaborators is fundamental to us, therefore, ALGO GLOBAL has internal policies to prevent any type of workplace violence and combat any action that could affect our workers.

Physical violence or threats in the workplace must be reported and addressed immediately and in accordance with the respective procedures. ALGO GLOBAL prohibits the possession of any type of weapon in its workplaces.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT OR ASSAULT

Regardless of gender, all ALGO GLOBAL workers and collaborators must respect the internal policies linked to sexual harassment.

These behaviors are typified within the penal codes of the locality and ALGO GLOBAL will follow the corresponding guidelines and investigations for any report related to the act of harassment, harassment or well-founded suspicion.

ALGO GLOBAL provides the tools and communication channels for this type of reporting. For us, individual or group affection is everyone’s concern.

LANGUAGE

The language, whether oral, written or corporal, must coincide with the values and principles set out in this document. All persons who have a relationship with ALGO GLOBAL are kindly requested to conduct themselves with respect and integrity in all forms of communication.

NO RETALIATION

Communication is important for any human relationship. ALGO GLOBAL, nor any interested party shall exercise any form of retaliation against any person who reports in good faith any violation or violation of this Code. As well as any well-founded suspicion.
